Great thing is pre-1923 books are all free!!! So all those classics are all free and you can read them all on the Kindle. Actually you can just get them on your computer for free to but reading on Kindle is much better, does not hurt the eyes as much. I have already read about 6 books on it, great. and it makes reading so much faster somehow, perhaps because I don't have flip pages, the a press of the button will do.
Also I got GelaSkin to go on my Kindle so it looks oh so pretty now. Also I got the leather cover which has an LED light if you hook up your Kindle into it, which was very great, not extra battery required, powered by the Kindle itself. SO all in all, this is an amazing piece of technology if you are an avid reader. Cuts down so much on all the books I need to buy now, and they all fit into this 1 device. I was hesitant at first to buy because I love the feel and smell of actual books, but I am sold now. You can look up words on the fly and highlight and annotate passages of text too, very straightforward. No more looking for a highlighter and writing in tight margin in books.
